The Campoverde Agricultural Show is ready for its 34th edition (from 25 to 28 April and 1 May) to confirm its role as a showcase par excellence of the potential of Aprilia and the Province of Latina from the point of view of agriculture, food and wine, horticulture and more generally productive activities.

The Campoverde Agricultural Exhibition, the National Agricultural Fair organized by the Tre M company, had about 90,000 visitors in the previous edition. Of these, about a quarter were children. Also this year children under the age of 7 will have free access to the Agricultural Show: this includes about two thousand students from the schools of Aprilia and Latina who will visit the Fair for free on 26 and 27 April, attending the educational farm and equestrian shows, getting closer to contact with the earth by planting seedlings and above all acquiring awareness of the agricultural world through play and fun, thanks to the collaboration with Avis.

The audience of the 2018 edition of the Fair came mainly from the province of Latina, the Castelli Romani and the Roman coast, but it was also possible to notice an increase in visitors from the capital, thanks to the close partnerships with Roman ticketing agencies and to a targeted promotion. of the event on Rome. Partnerships that will be proposed again in this 2019 edition. This will allow the name of Campoverde and the city of Aprilia to make itself known even more to the public outside the province, promoting local excellence with a return in terms of visibility and economic induced.

Among the excellences that will be exhibited in the 4 hectares of the exhibition area: agricultural machinery and their manufacturers, going to “close” the production chain; horticulture, with the excellence of floral production of the Pontine lands and the Flower Market, among the most renowned in Lazio; the history of the Pontine territory through the simulations of the ancient THRESHING with vintage machines and tractors from the 30s to the 70s thanks to the collaboration with the associations “Gruppo Amatori Macchine Agricole d’Epoca e Trebbiatura” and “Anonima Littoriana Aratori” .

Agriculture also means animal husbandry: there will be animals of the BOVINA, EQUINA, BUFFALINA and OVICAPRINA breed and of pets and poultry . Animals will always be in the foreground, playing a fundamental role in the agricultural economy of this area.

As always, the presentation of the animal world will also mean hosting canine associations, the animal-actors of the trainer Daniel Berquiny, falconry, the Butteri of the Pontine marshes which represent the historical memory of the pre-reclamation Pontine lands.

As part of the enhancement of the agricultural sector, visibility will be given to trade and employer associations that revolve around the primary sector: the “Lavoro e solidarity” association, Fagri and Cia, as well as Coldiretti.

An entire sector will be dedicated to Aprilia in Latium, excellences that represent Aprilia’s calling card and that boast the municipal brand, a city that is demonstrating all its potential.

There will be performances and shows with the butteri, the western show, the acrobatics of the stuntmen of Team Folco, the parades of vintage tractors, the cooking shows with the master ice cream makers and pizza makers.

Agricultural Show also means scientific insights through themed conferences: meetings organized for children, for farmers (such as the two-day Kiwi Show), pomegranate, corn, seminars for updating and enhancing local products.

Given the positive results in terms of public and offer, the Campoverde Agricultural Show will once again be an eagerly awaited appointment that will not disappoint the expectations not only of visitors, but also of the hundreds of exhibitors and the realities that through the Exhibition Agricultural companies obtain economic inducements: suppliers, hotels, restaurants, wholesalers. A turnover of several million euros for the benefit of a territory that has been able to make agriculture its economic engine, and that with the National Fair of Campoverde manages to obtain the right visibility.
