The Opportunities of Opening the Export Markets to Italian Enterprises in Markets of Former Soviet Union Countries

On 08/06/2010 in Bari the Camera di Commercio Italo-Orientale Counsellor-Deputy Director Dr. Alessandra Barnaba met with the Director of Lithuanian-Dutch common Enterprise the JSC "Exportera" Gintaras Grachauskas and discussed the opportunities to use the services offered by this Company of export organization to the markets of countries of former Soviet Union in order to stimulate the export of Italian Companies to the markets of the Baltic Sea, Byelorussia, Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan.

The guest presented to the representatives of the Camera di Commercio Italo-Orientale the Internet platform "Eurasia Trade Hub" created by this Company, which should help the Italian Companies to solve the problems becoming the obstacles in their export to these markets. The Internet platform (www.exportera.eu) will start operating in August 2010 and it should help the Italian Companies to find in these markets the potential clients, to check their commercial reliability, to organize the logistic solutions of Italian goods delivery in the most optimal way. This platform will also help to get round the main problems of Italian goods entering these target markets: language problems and problems of import regulation to these markets. Virtual office will be created for each Italian Company participating in this Platform. This office will take whole function of searching for clients, presentation of Italian production and communication with clients in their native language. If necessary, the Virtual office will provide the services of Italian production certification, receipt of import permits in official institutions of target markets. Also, if it is necessary, the export platform will provide the services of trade insurance debts recovery and services of legal maintenance. According to the guest, "Eurasia Trade Hub" will try to work for its client by "one stop shop" principle providing support in all chain of organization of export activity to these specific markets.

During the conversation the JSC "Exportera" representative underlined that since the year 2007 his Company has being the member of international Union of Commercial Agents (www.iucab.nl), uniting 380.000 commercial agents all over the world. Therefore, in addition the participants of www.exportera.eu platform - Italian Companies - will get an opportunity to present their production to members of this international net in Germany, Austria, United Kingdom, Ireland, USA, Canada.

It is believed that at the end on the year 2010 190.000 Companies of the Baltic Sea countries, Byelorussia, Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan will be the participants of www.exportera.eu platform.

The result of the Camera di Commercio Italo-Orientale and JSC "Exportera" meeting was the signing of Cooperation Agreement. Besides various steps of cooperation this Agreement supposes the presentation of status of great benevolence to the Camera di Commercio Italo-Orientale members wishing to become the participants of www.exportera.eu portal. This status means the discount of 20% to all services provided in the portal.
